Getting there

From Lombok:

Public Boat: Several boats depart daily from Bangsal to Gili Trawangan. There is no fix schedule, the boats leave when there are enough passengers. Tickets are available between 7am und 4pm for 10.000 IDR. If you need a boat later than 4pm you must hire a boat. Price: 250.000 IDR upwards, depending on the time of the day and your negotiation skills. Travel time: 30 minutes

From Bali:

Plane: Several flights depart daily from Bali to Lombok for approximately 300,000 IDR upwards. The flight time is about 25 minutes. From the airport you travel by taxi to Bangsal in 90 minutes. Price: about 400,000 with the airport taxi.

Speedboat: More than 10 speed boat companies operate daily between Bali and Gili Trawangan. You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the port. The travel time to the port depends on the respective port (Benoa and Padang Bai), and the hotel you stay at: 30-90 minutes. The cruise time to Trawangan is about 1-2 hours. Price: 400,000 IDR upwards. The boats usually run only in the mornings, during peak season some boats also operate in the afternoons.

Ferry: Every hour a ferry runs from Padang Bai, Bali to Lembar, Lombok. Price: 31,000 IDR. The travel time of the ferry is about 4-6 hours. From Lembar you have to organize a private transportation and schedule about 90 minutes to Bangsal.
